635 degrees awarded to spring graduates
Purdue University Calumet spring (2008) graduates earned 635 degrees. According to official figures released by the university’s Office of the Registrar, the graduates earned 112 associate degrees, 405 baccalaureate degrees and 118 master’s degrees. Also, 33 professional certificates were awarded this spring.
Additionally, 59 bachelor’s and associate degree recipients graduated with scholastic honors. Nineteen graduated with “highest distinction” and 40 graduated with “distinction.”
Graduates of “highest distinction” compiled a grade point index within the upper 3 percent of their class, while meeting minimum university credit hour requirements. Graduates of “distinction” compiled an upper 10 percent grade point index, while satisfying minimum university credit hour requirements.
Total graduates include 592 Indiana residents, and 70 Illinois residents, as well as two each from New York and Virginia, and one each from California and Florida.
More than 40,000 degrees have been awarded at Purdue Calumet.
