36 students named to ‘Who’s Who…’

Thirty-six Purdue University Calumet students have been selected for induction in the 2008 edition of “Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.”

Cedar Lake: Ryan Strode; Crown Point: Daniela Dukleska, Zachary Mako, William Obermeyer; Dyer: Cecilia Vega; East Chicago: Pedro Alvarez; Gary: Peter Fatouros,  Janee’ Fuller, Antwana Grant, Corey Hopper, Cynthia Irions, Nicole Perkins; Griffith: Marija Dobratic (Sipovo, Bosnia); Hammond: Samantha Fedor, Sara Keilman, Zhong Li (Guangzhou City, China), Jahaira Perez; Highland: Otis Brewer, Vanja Savic; Hobart: Richard Balutewicz, Amber Price, Loogootee: Zachary Struck; Merrillville: Joshua Marlow; Michigan City: Tyamo Okosun; Munster: William Durgin, Soumya Gupta, Bethan Sylvester; Schererville: Lori Ann Simmons-Stalter; Sumava Resorts: Norman Henderson; and Valparaiso: Dawn Clemons.

The students were nominated for “Who’s Who…” consideration by professors, peers, parents and administrators based on classroom performance, community involvement and leadership potential.
