Biography

Damian Rico is a public relations consultant for the City of East Chicago, Indiana. Under the George Pabey Administration, Rico has served as a media and political strategist while assisting to create a new brand for the community with an emphasis on economic development, improving public safety initiatives, creating jobs, better education and government accountability.

He has also assisted in formulating an after-school music program for underserved children called Viva PATS (Performing Arts and Theatre School). Rico also assisted the Pabey Administration to launch its JET (Jobs, Education and Training) Program.  This program was designed to provide jobs, education and training, while maximizing local resources to assist residents in becoming better prepared for the present and future job market.
